A ***good*** mexican place. I just don't think any of ours are good for more than breakfast.

1. A freaking amusement park. For real, there is nothing fun to do around here with out spending a but load and/or going down town

2. a HUUUUUGE community garden/park. I need more flowers in my life to break up the drab and droll of buildings and gas stations and banks and strip centers that remain half empty, yet we still continue to build more. I also need more pretty birds and butterflies in my life, which the garden will attract.

3. I don't even know what else because I have lived in Atascocita my whole life and don't know what else is fun or needed. We don't need any more banks, restaurants (If you want more, close down the cruddy ones we already have first), movie theatres (it's called netflix and red box, guys), nail salons, etc...

Netflix and Redbox don't have first-run movies.....and I guess I'm old school, but I still like the movie-going experience...just not at the mall. Thugbrook.

Movie Theater, I like to look at the big screen :D Tv just doesn't compare

Book Store, Lifeway would be perfect, Barnes and Noble would be great but one of the smaller operations would work, Half Price books etc.

Paintball park!

Before we put in further business, wouldn't it be nice if we had a mandate that all signage along 1960 from the bridge crossing the lake to Hwy 59 could not be taller than 8'? That all businesses had to keep their lawns manicured and neat and that we had more lights to ensure the safety of our citizens or perhaps lower the speed limit the entire stretch to 35/40? I was recently in Park City, Utah on business and because of these exact rules, their town was pristine and pleasant. I would think the business owners would have more pride in the appearance of their properties. Nice attracts nice...

Toward the question, however, a good steakhouse would be lovely, one where people were required or felt compelled to dress nicely. (Whatever happened to jackets on gentlemen and dresses on ladies)? Yes, I know.. it's 96+ out, but there is such a material as cotton/linen....

A Steakhouse on the lake with a garden
A German Restaurant with a biergarten (beer garden) for music and dancing (not a bar, but a true German style venue)
A children's activity center, such as the Children's museum in Houston.

We need a Cabela's store... that would put Atascocita on the map.

Any of y'all been to the one in Buda, South of Austin? Man, that store is huge! It's soooo big that it has its own water tower... It's sooo big, that a woman got lost inside and they found her 3 days later... she survived eating deer corn...
