I need Gumbo HELP!

The boys are off fishing so only hubby has tried. He said "pretty good" but I know he was upset there were veggies visible. Picky.

I also made a veggie soup and fideo. This is how I cook, in spurts. I won't cook again for 2 weeks probably. Lol!

Fideo is like Mexican spaghetti. Little short noodles, cubed up round steak, green bell peppers, and a sort of gravy.

I have never heard of this...may be my next cooking adventure.
Anything has to be better than my Gumbo from He!!.
