I wish everything would shut down on Sunday. RETEACH US to relax at least one day a week.

@lynnsgirl :

I don't think very many women today cook for their families . So are most going to fast on Sunday or eat luncheon meat ? LOL We have 2 daughters that eat out more than eating at home . Which cost a bundle instead of cooking .

Way back in the old days it was called blue law. Car buying must choose one weekend day to close! Liquor stores are closed on Sunday! I remember Sage(closed a long time age -like kmart) near Meyerland was open on Sunday but used tape to close a portion that could not open on Sunday

Yes very wrong indeed to "Summize" anything, however you may SURMISE that this is true. Emoticon Whole town shuts down at about 9:30 on weekend nights too. It is best to have your burger cravings by about 8:30 or so.

I remember the blue law! You had to plan your shopping back then.

Can't they just hire non-Christian employees to work on Sundays, or is that cheating?

Uhh.. Do we include Rising Sun in this category? I'm a sushi snob for sure and I will or eat anything around here. The service the decor, the INGREDIENTS. There's better for sure.

Eating sushi on Sunday made by atheists would be perfectly fine with me.

I for one, cook all the time. Not just on Sunday. But it seems that after I may or may not have attended worship, I want to do crafts and truly wish Hobby Lobby were open on Sunday. And Specs. I get super creative when I'm drinking.

All jokes aside - Sunday should be a day of rest and family and friends. And No electronics.

What?! Get yourself over there! Great food, good drinks, lovely atmosphere. They've got happy hour from 4p-7p I think. Really tasty rolls and appetizers. Only place I eat sushi at if not in the loop or SW Houston.

They are pretty good - we've been there once. About tied with your #2 (Wazabi) and also Akashi in K'wood. I agree with your list, adding in the tie for 2nd place though.
