My parents were 19 (dad) mom 15 when they married
 
My dad went to a local carnival and threw coins. I know yall have seen this at the Rodeo or a carnival. You stand there and throw coins if they land on the plate etc... you keep it.
 
My daddy won this plate as a young man (dad).
 
When I was younger, I only got to eat off of it. Now, I get to display it.
 
I love this plate.

I still have our stockings and some decorations from when we were little but they're boxed up. The oldest I have displayed is a nativity scene my mom gave my sister about 35ish years ago.
