I saw it on channel 13.

The ABC13 weather guy mentioned this week that another cold blast would be coming around spring break to warn gardeners about planting early. So I've been watching it closely. It will definitely be cold, 40s at least at night for a few days.
The latest prediction by spacecityweather mentioned 30s but it's probably too early to know anything for certain.

My son is getting married near Austin next weekend. I hope the weather is nice like today.

@West-Tex : Oh wow I haven't heard that either. I sure hope we don't get into the 30s. No more freezes. Things are just starting to bloom.

Space city weather is backing off the lows in the 30`s and saying 40`s

@Weathergirl5 : I haven't heard anyone mention a freeze, so I think we're good there.
At the least maybe upper 30s for just a few nights.
But then again…there have been freezes as late as April, I think in 1979…..so I never say never!
Erratic weather is our new normal….I guess Mother Nature is punishing us for polluting her!

…Models cannot quite pin down exactly how next week's front looks. We know a couple things. It's going to be a strong front in terms of temperatures, ushering in some very chilly air for early March. As Eric noted yesterday, the chances of an actual freeze are quite low at this time, but we'll continue watching. 40s for lows seem likely at this point by next Friday or Saturday, and 30s are becoming a definite possibility. Time will tell....a little early to predict the weather for next week.

I haven't see the local stations forecast yet but the coldest night I see on Weather Channel 10 Day is 48 degrees next Monday night.

Last week we expected a front to move all the way through Houston by Friday, bringing in substantially colder air. Well, I'm sorry to disappoint those of you who like cold weather, but it's not happening. Such is the peril of forecasting the weather more than a week out. Rather the front is going to move toward our region and stall out somewhere along or north of Interstate 10, most likely.
Next week
It does appear as though some sort of front will make it through about one week from today, and that will usher in cooler and drier conditions for most of Spring Break in Houston. How cool? I'm hesitant to say, but I'd guess we'll see nights in the 40s or 50s."

@texas2011 : This would be better than low 30's.

@West-Tex: WeatherBug shows Sunday's low at 58 and high of 82, and 50s as lows until Wed. Great daytime weather!
