@Andi7 : I don't use my cell while in stores except for my shopping list.
When I worked at Walmart, I said we should have a kill switch to disable phones in the check out lines. People stay on the phone while they check out and then start digging through their bags wanting a price check. When they are still on the phone, they demand an item(s) be deleted. Guess what transaction is done and they have to go to Customer Service (long line) to get a credit.
One lady had forgotten her wallet in the car. She was on the phone and yelling for me to wait for her to run to her car. I suspended her order and handled her the order bar code for when she returned. She was **** that she would have a stand in line again.....she was in a hurry. She got attitude and I just said my other customers are in a hurry and shouldn't have to wait for her. She came back ON HER PHONE and had to stand in line. Too bad she didn't forget the cell in the car and brought her wallet.
I also hated hearing their 'Oh no he didn't' calls. Those damn bluetooths.......you think they are talking to you......nope they are on the phone. So annoying and rude!!
