@LifesABeach : MacDaddy was a colorful character around here for a while during the Obama years...He was hard-right politically and enjoyed posting about politics, often many threads per day, most slamming the Obama administration and the Democrats....But he kept breaking the forum "rules" and "crossing the line" back then and Joe had to constantly deal with him, many times temporarily banning him...Until one day Joe had enough and made the ban permanent....It should be mentioned that this was a time BEFORE Joe implemented the lightly moderated "FastLane" approach for separate political discussions....I think most of us who were on ADC back then had a daily routine along the lines of grabbing some popcorn and logging in to ADC every evening just to see what(or whose) buttons he was pushing that day....I had several exchanges with him myself on various topics, but I don't recall it ever getting "personal" with him, at least not to the point to cross my line where I'd put him on ignore...More like throw a punch, take a punch....Was an interesting time here, IMO....* This is a General chat discussion.
