The problem here is the Trump is talking to the wrong body....SCOTUS weighs the law as written and considers whether it violates the Constitution on grey-areas....When something is WRITTEN in the Constitution it's pretty much an "open and shut" case, no matter how the Judges characterize their "reasoning" in the "final judgement".....And, IMO, they made the right(only) decision in this case....
If the Trump wants this changed(which it really needs to be IMO), the body he has to deal with is the Congress which is the Legislative Branch....Only they can amend the Constitution....Very "fundamental"....
