So DH has been at the car wash over an hour so far... He's not sure if they have started his drying process yet or not. He can't tell!! Has anyone else noticed how S...L...O...W they are these days??? Any recommendations for somewhere else to go??
Yes. Took my car there a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't too bad until my car got out to be dried. Took that guy 45 minutes to finish. I told him several times I had to get out of there quickly, because my daughter was waiting for me. I finally stood over his shoulder and pressed (gently, but firmly). Still gave him a good tip, because I know he was trying to do a good job. Just s l o w.
For a quick wash we go to Mr. Bubbles (???) right across the Swash but if we need the interior cleaned we go to Pirate's Cove. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays most of their packages are 50% off. On Mondays too but you'll need a coupon for that which can be found on the back of HEB/Kroger receipt.
@tb505 I know what you mean. I grew up in a Company town, and I always washed the car in the front yard because it was the only time I got to drive it... If I did that now, I'd probably get in trouble with the HOA... not to mention wasting water.
The car wash on 494 next to Home Depot is good and not quite as slow as Swash. Unless you're there Sat morn!! Has coupons/ ladies day ect. Also can do oil changes if needed. The only place I will NEVER go back to is Gurdys on Atascocita Rd! The man directed me into the lane in my SUV and I put it in neutral. I noticed it was taking along time to "move" ... The Man knocked on my window and said please back up.... When I did my front tire exploded! Their track had slit the side wall and after arguing and contacting corporate they would NOT pay to replace my tire that I felt was their fault!
