Suspicious Person Call Leads to the Arrest of a Wanted Suspect
 
On March 15, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 7900 block of FM 1960 Road in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arriving, the suspect was identified as Gary Dashield.
 
Further investigation revealed he had two open warrants for Evading and Resisting Arrest.
 
"Gary Dashield was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the warrants. His total bond was set at $504.00 out of County Court 3." - Constable Mark Herman

He had two open warrant get $504 bond. This is really getting to be silly. They're not even serious any more about this

@Cbear : Absolutely. Did you see the guy yesterday that they arrested for robbing several restaurants in downtown Houston. He's been arrested like 70 times. Who gets arrested 70 times over the years and is still out on the streets robbing and burglarizing

That's what I've been thinking. Repeat offenders out on the streets because they barely get a slap on the wrist and bond out. If they can steal $100+ of merchandise or personal property, what's a $100 bond to them if they already have a track record and out of jail.

@Maxsmom : Where did it say he was a felon?
 
Both of his warrant charges are Misdemeanors. That's actually a high bond for Misdemeanors anywhere, not Harris County.
