For Immediate Release – 9/21/2023

On September 18, 2023, the office of Constable Kenneth "Rowdy" Hayden led a coordinated effort to capture a suspect who had repeatedly evaded local law enforcement.

Montgomery County Precinct Four Deputies had been investigating Chase Reese, a 27-year-old from Conroe, TX. Reese had previously escaped custody during a traffic stop by the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office on August 28 and had again evaded Precinct Four Deputies in the early hours of September 18 during a suspicious person investigation.

Authorities pinpointed Reese's location near E. Martin Drive in Porter, Texas. Despite another attempt to flee on foot, Reese was eventually apprehended. The search involved assistance from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Patton Village Police Department. Our deputies employed both aerial drone technology and Pct. 4 K9 unit "Vic" to aid in Reese's capture.

Reese was arrested with the deployment of a Conducted Energy Weapon (Taser) near the area of US Highway 59 and E. Martin Drive. He is now in custody facing felony charges of Evading Arrest with Previous Convictions and an outstanding warrant for Driving While Intoxicated from Harris County, TX. Additional charges related to narcotics and evading arrest are pending, and Reese is also a subject of ongoing burglary investigations in the area.

Constable Hayden expresses his gratitude to local law enforcement partners for their assistance in this apprehension. "This individual, with a history of violence, theft, and drug-related offenses, is now behind bars where he belongs. We encourage individuals facing criminal charges to turn themselves in and face the legal consequences. Failure to do so will result in apprehension."

*ALL ARRESTS & PHOTOS ARE PUBLIC INFORMATION. ALL SUBJECTS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY*
