I had an older version and hated it. There was no way to make it comfortable. To me it was just a sturdier version of an air mattress for camping that Sleep Number slapped a thin layer of foam and a quilt over and sold it for a couple thousand dollars. I tried numerous mattress toppers, to no avail. Plus, this may have just been an issue with ours...idk, it would lose a lot of air every single time we'd lose electricity. We'd have to sleep on a very saggy and even more uncomfortable mattress until the power came back. Two thumbs-down for me. We did go back recently to see if the newer versions were any better and we bought a regular mattress instead.

One of my children want's this one also. We recently switched from a memory foam back to a more regular one. With the memory foam one I always felt there was this "hole" I was in and could not get back out. Now we have a beautyrest pressure smart one. So far I like it, has a little give, but enough for me. Started out wanting a firm one, but the more I started talking to the mattress sales people I changed my mind.

@West-Tex : A while back my sister gave me her old one because the mechanics stopped working. I'll tell you this, the second I lay down I go to sleep , so that's saying a lot. I don't have to flop around trying to find a position or cool spot. Get one!!

I agree with other's about the power issue. We bought an earlier version for our last camper (which we only used for two weeks... ugh). If we lost power to the camper, that was it. I did get a super-duper pillow top for it that helped though!

@West-Tex : My friend bought one about six months ago. She said it has helped her back out so much. She just couldn't lie straight anymore. She said she said her back was hurting her almost every day and now it feels so much better.
