Shooting at AHS - reported by Eagle Springs residents

A simple internet search came up with his address at 18702 Regatta Road, just saying...

@The Sicilian : Where is it and how current? Maybe detectives have already tried going to his last known address.

eighteen : I would think they have, but I'm sure he didn't go home. Right now there's no telling where he is.

...but he is armed and dangerous?

@BaBaLou : probably so, what does he have to lose at this point? I wouldn't take any chances.

In all honesty, I feel badly for the shooter's family as well. Can you imagine having a Son throw away his life at such an early age? Very sad for all sides.

@The Sicilian : I saw on a family member's page video and photos of the shooter at the gun range.

A happy 19th birthday post that included a lengthy video of shooting at a range.

The family otherwise seems very loving and close, volunteering together in the community. But someone encouraged the use of a gun....and I believe that was a mistake.

Regatta is in Walden

It is so important for all kids to know makes, models and years(at least close in age) of cars. A red car tells police nothing.
So so important. Something you all can do while your kids are off. Make a game of it until they know 99% .
We did it like the punch buggy game in the 60's. It teaches them how to look for certain headlights, tailights and other distinguishing body things like damage that they can focus on after they learn the basics.

Can't imagine what the victim's family is dealing with. All the virus stuff and now having to plan a funeral for a 19 yr old. So sad! Why do people think guns solve anything? I'm not antigun, but why did a kid have it?

There have been a lot of shootings in that area recently. Scary.

A couple things stick out..
1. Uhh I'm pretty sure the shooter isn't white. How do you screw that up?
2. What went through his mind? Oh there's the dude I had a problem with a year or so ago, I'm going to chase him down a football field and shoot him. Two lives completed wasted, WTH?
3. I get young people do stupid things, we all did
But shooting someone like that? I just don't get it.

2nd shooting we've had in close proximity where Precinct officers know the shooter but can't catch him. WTH?? Family members deserve some justice.
