Savvas Greek Cuisine & Grill Has anyone ever eaten here? If so, was it good? The google reviews look pretty good. It is in the shopping center next to Ling's.

I go there all the time... it get's "sandman's seal of approval" which is not easily given out everything is good, the gyro's, the salads, the falafel plate
It's good...their gyros and chicken slouvaki are really good (great tzaziki sauce, too!), but man...that Greek lemon chicken soup (I forgot what it's called in Greek...starts with an A)!
Pretty good Greek salad, too...I like the vinaigrette! The only time we weren't crazy about them is when we stopped in during a non-peak time (after lunch, but before dinner). Everything was kind of "old" and dried out.
Thanks for the reminder... I LOVE Greek food! We've been there once, and it was good.. I always forget about them, but need to visit again soon.... Falafel plate sounds like something that definitely needs to be tried!!
Now to get DH to try something other than another hamburger place... Not that there's anything wrong with that.....
The gyros are great! I would put them up against Nikos etc any day. The hummus is pretty good, and the tabouli salad varies from day to day (between great, and just ok), but it is a Mediterranean version with feta vs the typical middle eastern type. So it was not what I was expecting the first time I ordered it, but it was very fresh and delish.
Overall it is good. It is not a top pick for us but we've never had anything to domain about either.
