Post your April Fools Day pranks!! I need some ideas!

Last year, I put the egg dye tablets in the water faucets. When they turned on the faucets in the morning, they got a surprise. DD thought bright pink water was hysterical....DH was thoroughly annoyed by bright blue water on his toothbrush. Success!!

Another year, we put fake squirrel statues from the dollar store all over DDs swingset. She was was about 5 then, so she was astounded by the squirrel herd.

I'm thinking of short-sheeting the kid's bed this year.

You are sooo funny....I remember doing this stuff with my kids. I would wake the kids up and tell them I overslept.."HURRY HURRY...you will be late for school" routine and after they were up dressed and rushed like crazy I would say AF!
Maybe that promotes trust issues.... Emoticon
At work we would put down a funeral home number with the message to call Mr. Stiff. Also Borden's number with the call back name of Elsie...I know, I know...we should be shamed of ourselves, but co-workers, bosses fell for it, some repeats. I had heard these places get numerous calls on April Fools Day.

@MooMaw I'll have to add the alarm-clock-malfunction to my list for Wednesday. That's a good one!

My DH played a dirty, dirty prank on me while proposing marriage. We were at the lake on the bank, he starts his proposal and is nervous, takes the ring case out of his pocket and fumbles it into the lake. I felt so bad for him, his machismo and all, so I waited for him to reach to retrieve it. He just froze so I got down on the ground and told him to grab my feet and dangle me over the 3ft drop to the water so I could get it. It was at that point that he started laughing. Dork. I have been waiting for the perfect prank to come along to get even with him. I told him he'll never know when it's coming.....God willing, we'll have 60+years and he will never know when.

We've only been married 18 years, but I hope to have 60+ years to get even. **Insert maniacal laughter.**

@Sammee Wake your husband out of a dead sleep and yell, "honey! Omg! There's a HUGE leak (leek!) in the sink! HELP!"

We've done that one, but with a leak/leek in the toilet. You can buy those giant leeks for like a buck in the produce section at HEB. Emoticon

Funnier sticking out of the toilet (can't find my pics), but sink would work, too...and maybe you wouldn't have to throw it away afterwards (potato leek soup!). Emoticon

I like to tell my boss I found a new job. He's fell for it every year for the past several years. He gets this sad then panicked look on his face.
