I've never cooked a turkey and I don't want to. $75 is cheap compared to the annoyance of using my gas oven that is so small. I have a double oven that doesn't fit crap in it. I just read on here about the oven fire, so i googled what can happen with a gas oven. I had NO idea that you shouldn't cover the entire rack, well that's kind of hard to do with a small oven.
ADC switched from a Spring Creek regular a few years ago to Tin Roof-there are dishes SC does better (their salads are way better-brisket is a hair better)-but you can't beat Tin Roofs ribs (night and day better than SC) and all their sandwiches are real good. Glad it's back open.
I normally buy a Turkey from Pappas (it's pretty good-comes in a cooler and you can pick it up Weds or even Thurs morning)-but never the sides. I'll try Tin Roof this year.
