I only went to China Ko once when they first opened. The only Chinese dish I like is sweet and sour chicken and I did not care for their sweet and sour sauce.

I tried China Ko once or twice, my mom likes the Crosby location so we ordered to pick up when she came by. I was a little curious seeing how empty the place always was, never had the nerve to try the buffet.

My sis and BIL went to a China Ko near where they used to live and it was fine. So we tried the one here (take out, not buffet) and I got sick. So yeah, we don't go there anymore.

Tried KO several times . Food was always like it had been under the warming lights forever as no one was there. Can not see this massive space as a steak house. May it be a buffet steak house???

@FNULNU1954 Starting over is sometimes good. They will most likely learn from their past mistakes and work on future services.

@cbp210 Hopefully that's the case... It would be great to have a decent steakhouse in the area, and they spent lots of time on China Ko before it finally opened.

@daddyo9 do you remember the salad bar at Steak & Ale? It wasn't very big, but it sure was yummy!!

@TexanFan1 I want to say the steak & ale was already closed when i moved out here so never had it. Think I went to one in Lafayette but don't remember a salad bar.
