According to reports from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, a deputy was patrolling the Atascocita area when he observed 2 vehicles drag racing in the 5000 block of East FM 1960. The Constable was able to stop both vehicles and the drivers were arrested.One of the suspects, Anthony Cano, was also found to be in possession several illegal narcotics and a prohibited weapon. Cano was transported to the hospital for medical reasons and a warrant will be filed for his arrest after all seized narcotics are tested...as well as the Racing on the Highway charge.The other suspect was arrested but eventually had his charges dropped.
