Should we leave? I'm not sure what to do.

He also said that we will see additional flooding in the Lake Houston area beyond what we are seeing now.....as the river continues to rise with water from Cypress and Spring creeks.

Last two data points for San Jac at Humble shows a drop. Let's hope this is a trend and not a gauge error.

@analogkid, it may be an error. Jeff Linder with Harris County Flood Control just stated in a live press conference that the river continues to rise and will not crest until later tonight or tomorrow. He will hold another live conference at 7:30.

@analogkid
Thank you for updates. I was wondering how you were after four hours of no posts. I am really concerned. We are in Atascocita Trails and have been fine. Any thoughts on our future?

Lost power, then my wife and I went out to walk the neighborhood. At this point, everyone should be concerned. There is no historical reference point anymore. People are totally reliant on being at a sufficiently high elevation/distance from the leading edge of the encroaching water, and at the mercy of the river and surrounding waterways. Any answer I could provide would be total speculation and guessing.
