Four members of an Atascocita family are now in custody on multiple charges, including Manufacturing/Delivery Of A Controlled Substance and Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon.
According to PCT 4, on Friday, February 2, 2018, deputies with
Constable Mark Herman's Office were dispatched to the 18700 block of Dempsey Oaks Drive in Atascocita in reference to a male being shot in the leg.
Upon arriving, the victim reported that he had been shot by an unknown person while walking the trails. However, Precinct 4 deputies investigated further and discovered the victim was actually shot in front of a residence while engaged in a heated argument.
Constable Deputies went to the residence and were able to identify a juvenile suspect who had shot the complainant, and they also recovered a rifle. During the investigation, deputies also found Jennifer Peyton, Randall Peyton and a second juvenile suspect to be in possession of several controlled substances, including Marijuana and Methamphetamine.

"One juvenile suspect was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. The second juvenile suspect was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and a Controlled substance. Both juveniles were taken to the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center. Jennifer and Randall Peyton were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Possession of Marijuana and Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Their bonds were set at $31,000.00 each in District Court 182." ~ Constable Mark Herman
