Atascocita Man Arrested on Aggravated Assault Charge, Stolen Firearm RecoveredA man was arrested May 30 following a weapons disturbance call in an Atascocita neighborhood, according to Constable Mark Herman's Office.Deputies responded to the 18400 block of Dale Forest Court, where they located and detained Darius Love, who was reportedly armed with a handgun.During the investigation, authorities determined that Love allegedly struck a victim in the head with the firearm, causing pain and injury. Deputies also discovered that the handgun had been reported stolen.Love was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.According to authorities, his bond was set at $20,000 by the 232nd District Court.
