Intoxicated Driver Apprehended After Single Vehicle Crash

CONSTABLES ARREST A SUSPECTED DRUNK DRIVER

On November 15, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 18900 block of Barry Lane in reference to a single vehicle crash. The driver was identified as Demario Samuel, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication.

A series of Standard Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was determined that he was intoxicated.

"Demario Samuel was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 9." - Constable Mark Herman

Oh good grief.. a drunk driver gets $100 bond and has to pay $10. Oh yes that will teach him a lesson. Next time he'll kill someone.

We had one guy who was high as a kite ram into a delivery driver and his parked car, plus a mailbox on our street. The dude was so high, he couldn't even stand up. Got the $100.00 bond and was released within about 14 hours.

@Sammee : What a joke. I guess they wait until you hurt someone to raise the bond up to about $500.

That is the reason they keep doing it, plus they get a bed to sleep it off for 10.00 a night cheaper than a hotel room.
