Police apprehend young suspects after stolen car pursuitEarly this morning at approximately 1:00 am, Night Shift A received a notification from our Flock LPR system of a stolen vehicle in our city.
Officers were able to located the vehicle and a short pursuit ensued. While pursuing the stolen vehicle, a black bag was observed being thrown out of the passenger window. A handgun was later recovered from the bag.
During the pursuit the stolen vehicle ended up with two flat tires and spun out near the 9200-BLK of FM 1960 Byp.
The two suspects were 15 year old juveniles and were charged with felony evading and felony tampering with evidence. Both were transported downtown to the juvenile detention center.
This isn’t the first time these juveniles have been arrested by Humble PD. They have a case from May of this year at Deerbrook Mall.
