Repeat Offender: Suspect Arrested for Second DWI OffenseOn September 16, 2023, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 8500 block of FM 1960 Bypass Road West in reference to a male driver asleep behind the wheel of a running vehicle. Upon arriving, the driver was identified as Arthur Letendre, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was determined that he was intoxicated. Further investigation revealed he had a previous DWI conviction on his record. "Arthur Letendre was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with his second Driving While Intoxicated offense. His bond was set at $5,000.00 out of the 482nd District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
