Here’s the latest update that we’ve received regarding details on an upcoming lane closure beginning on July 7-10, 2023 requiring the closure of Atascocita Rd near FM1960. More details below:
 
The Texas Department of Transportation's (TDOT) contractor will be placing steel beams for the new bridge that is being constructed over Atascocita Road at FM 1960. The beam placement is scheduled for the weekend of July 7-10, 2023, and requires the closure of Atascocita Road on the south side of FM 1960. Drivers can expect major delays on Atascocita Road and are strongly encouraged to seek alternate routes.
 
Beginning at 8 p.m., Friday, July 7, to 5 a.m., Monday, July 10
• Total Closure - Atascocita Road north- and southbound closed at FM 1960. Drivers traveling on
Atascocita Road towards FM 1960 will not be able to access FM 1960. Drivers traveling on FM 1960 will not be able to access Atascocita Road. FM 1960 will remain open.
 
Note: All closures are subject to change due to inclement weather.

Yeah I had noticed nothing had been done there and that it was still open to traffic last week . I guess it got delayed.
