Constables Arrest Suspect For Driving While Intoxicated With A Child Passenger
On March 6, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 3800 block of Atascocita Road in reference to a three vehicle major crash. The at fault driver was identified as Perla Arellano, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication. She was found to have three passengers in her vehicle, one passenger was 10 years old.
Standardized Field Sobriety tests were administered and it was determined that she was intoxicated.
"Perla Arellano was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger. Her bond has not been set but her case is assigned to the 180th District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
