Humble ISD’s Super Staffers of the Month were recognized at the regularly scheduled Board Meeting on February 21. This month’s Super Staffer Awards is sponsored by Whataburger.
Honored at the Board Meeting were the following Super Staffers:
Stephanie Galvan — Fall Creek Elementary Music Teacher
Those who nominated her said, "Mrs. Galvan, known on campus as Mrs. G, believes that all students can sing and all students have musical talents. She provides a variety of opportunities for students, including an instrumental club (Cardinals con Calore) where students can explore and show off their musical gifts. Regardless of whether she is working with our Pre-K students or our 5th grade students, the passion Mrs. G has for music shines through. Above all, she has a love for FCE students that helps them take flight!"
Lynn Sibley — West Lake Middle School Special Education Lead Teacher
Those who nominated her said, "Serving our Special Needs students is a heavy lift for anyone - not for Lynn Sibley. Lynn serves our WLMS parents and students with heart, grace, and love. She is the staff member who is never afraid to step in and help with any student. Due to her genuine connections with parents and students, she is trusted and depended on by all. Lynn Sibley exemplifies what all educators should be. She is simply AMAZING and WLMS is super excited that she is a part of us."
Criscilla Hensley — 504 Specialist, Educational Support Services
Those who nominated her said, "Criscilla Hensley is an amazing teammate and co-worker. Our team draws daily inspiration from her personal and professional motivation and positive words. Criscilla is especially adept at reminding us not to become so focused on the ever present urgent needs of the moment that we overlook the many blessings we receive from one another and the overall good that we consistently accomplish together. Above all, Criscilla provides our team with timely encouragement during difficult times to eagerly pursue what is best for ourselves, our team and for the campuses and students that we serve."

A drawing is held and three honorees receive additional recognition at the School Board Meeting, including a gift card, thanks to sponsor Whataburger.
