Humble Police Take Juvenile into Custody for Reckless Driving

On Wednesday, February 22 a Patrol Officer observed two vehicles driving recklessly in the area of US Hwy 59 at W 1st St. When the officer activated his overhead emergency lights both vehicles began evading, which resulted in a pursuit.
As these suspects did not have much time or experience operating a motor vehicle, they ended up crashing into each other just moments after they began to flee, disabling one of their vehicles The other vehicle continued to evade, but ultimately ended up crashing… (shocking).
The suspect fled on foot but was located after a brief search of the area. The suspect was found to be a juvenile after taken into custody The suspect in the other vehicle fled the scene before officer arrival. Both vehicles were found to have been recently stolen just a few hours prior. Luckily no one was injured in the making of all these shenanigans.
