Humble ISD Stranger Danger Alert for Summerwood ElementaryFrom Humble ISD:Summerwood Elementary: January 18, 2023January 18, 2023Dear Summerwood Elementary Families,I want to inform you of an unusual incident that occurred today near our campus at dismissal. A SWE parent and her child were leaving campus, driving past the Summerwood Central Club House on Summerwood Lakes Drive, when they witnessed a teen or young adult male exposing himself at the corner of the club house parking lot, facing the road. The man was described as a young adult African American male wearing a white shirt and khaki pants. The parent circled back around toward the club house but could no longer see him. The parent reported the incident to staff. The Humble ISD Police Department was notified.This is a good opportunity to talk to your children about the following safety tips:-If anything unusual occurs, tell an adult immediately. Parents and teachers need to know what happened right away.
-Walk or bike to and from school in groups.
-Never talk to strangers or accept rides from them.
-Arrange for immediate access to neighbors and other trusted adults who could answer questions or be contacted in an emergency. 
-Tour the neighborhood with your child to identify safe and dangerous circumstances.
