Constables Assist with the Arrest of a Murder Suspect
On November 17, 2022, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Special Operations and Canine Unit were requested to assist the U.S. Marshal's Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force who had received information on the whereabouts of a fugitive, Kenneth Carter who was wanted for Murder.
Deputies responded to the area of Will Clayton Parkway and Atascocita Road where the suspect was seen getting into a vehicle and leaving a residence. A felony traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle in the 15400 block of Old Humble Road and he was taken into custody.
"Kenneth Carter was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the Murder Warrant out of Kileen, Texas. He is awaiting extradition." - Constable Mark Herman
