Constables Arrest a Wanted Felon

On September 13, 2022, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Special Operations Unit responded to the 8000 block of FM 1960 in reference to a male standing in the public roadway soliciting money, causing traffic to impede. Upon arriving, the male was identified as Warner Dalton.

Further investigation revealed that he had an Felony Warrant for Burglary of a Habitation.

"Warner Dalton was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant. His bond and court information have not been set at this time." - Constable Mark Herman

This guy is why we don't need to entice the panhandlers to our neighborhood by giving them money. None of them....regardless of cute puppies or kids standing with them. Donate to HAAM or Star of Hope instead.

It's bad enough that pan handlers hang out in parking lots @ the corner but I hate it when they approach my car at a red light/intersection. I never give them money. I've bought a family food & drinks before because they had their kid's out there with them.

@Sammee : There is one group every year the woman has a new baby & also young kids running around playing which makes it so hard to just drive by . But I have learned to do it . I have seen this group all over the place trying to get money .

I call them the gypsies. They move about from North Hore, to Atascocita and wherever else. At least when food is provided, the kids actually sit and eat (for the family I used to see all the time on Wallisville).
