Constables Arrest Mother for Child Aabandonment
On September 14, 2022, at about 11:20 A.M., deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the Villas at Foxbrick Apartment Complex located in the 7200 block of Foxbrick Lane in reference to to a welfare check of a 4 year old boy.
Upon deputies arriving, an employee advised that the child was found alone in an apartment.
Constable Deputies were able to get a hold of the child's mother, who later arrived on scene and was identified as Demitris Bob. Further investigation revealed that she left the child unsupervised for at least 6 hours.
The child was released to a family member. Child Protective Services was contacted and advised the facts of the case.
"Demitris Bob was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Child Abandonment. Her bond and court information have not been set at this time." - Constable Mark Herman
