Large conference and events center planned to open in Valley Ranch Town CenterThe EMCID Board of Directors has announced a proposed 200,000 square foot conference and events center which will be located in Valley Ranch Town Center. The new center will feature meeting space large enough to hold major corporate events, trade shows, local and regional youth sporting events, consumer shows, galas, wedding receptions, proms and other private events.Construction is projected to begin in late 2022 and the center plans to open mid-2024. The cost of the facility, site preparation, and furniture, fixtures and equipment is estimated to be approximately $90 million plus an additional parking structure projected at about $18 million.
