The problem is he was by a school. When I'm out scaring off the squirrels and crows with my pink Red Ryder bb gun (don't worry, I never hit them), I'm sure to ensure no one can see me. And I don't live by a school.

I just read this as ABC13 sent it as a break news alert on the phone. My heart dropped my child attends this school and ABC13 states that a teenager was pointing a gun at cars by the school. I did not finish reading the article before panicking. I am very upset with this whole situation.

@Fairlane67: Because "teenager was pointing a gun at cars by the school." You just don't do stuff like that these days. I doubt anyone hung around long enough to realize it was a BB gun. I guess that 15-year-old will have a memory of 4/25/17 for a long time to come.... And, BTW, why wasn't he in school?????
Of course, nowadays ALL incidents have to be treated as if it were an "active shooter." Think about all the manpower that was used, and then there's the fact that it was right by an Elementary school!!!

They showed the pellet gun on TV, it looks just like a hand gun. No orange tip or other marking. He's lucky that he didn't point it at the cops or they may have shot him!

Per the sheriff, the kid pointed the gun at several cars driving on Kings Parkway and then headed towards the elementary school. They received many 911 calls. This kid deserves whatever charges he receives.

Agreed @Alettertoelise... What was he thinking!?!?! Good thing he didn't point it at Law enforcement... That would have been a really bad outcome!!
