She left her home without her phone or Apple Watch. No one, does that.

When a mom isn't given custody of a young child, that usually indicates she has issues. Possibly with drugs. She may be on a "binge", the pressures of a fulltime job after not being out in the workforce can be a stress trigger.
Looks like a 'runaway' situation to me, since she willingly left without her phone/AppleWatch.
Runaways don't always make it home alive though.

I wish the news would provide more info. For example, License plate #, narrow down the commute to/from work, etc. People in the general vicinity could review their personal/store surveillance @ least or be on the lookout. I personally have joint and extended custody of my teenage daughter. It's week on/week off during the summer so who knows. I never leave my house without my phone, running behind or not. I hope she's found safe but it's not looking good. I don't think she would've called work to say she's running late and go MIA on purpose; she could've called in sick or not at all. Her family is probably worried sick.

@ParksideRes : Thanks. I didn't see the license plate # but local vicinity within a certain area would narrow it down more. I've watched too many cases solved including detailed info. but only after the case was solved. I'm sure the authorities and people that are close to her know but understand the privacy factor as well.

Detective Sammee's theory: She was jonesing as she was running out the door. She stopped off for a fix, had a little too much to drive. She decided to sleep it off before going to work and got in the passenger seat so she wouldn't be caught behind the wheel while under the influence. Accidental overdose.
