I see the bottom line being 5 + 1 = 6, then 6 Ã— 10 = 60

To do it correctly, multiplication always comes before addition or subtraction within a math problem, so it should look like this:

5+(1x10).

A common technique for remembering the order of operations is the abbreviation "PEMDAS", which is turned into the phrase "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally". It stands for "Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division, and Addition and Subtraction".

@Floyd I didn't notice the two servings! I change it to 60! Does it count that I got up at 7, clean my beach house after having 4 dogs there, packed up and drove home without having breakfast count or just my poor eyesight? These things are tricky.
