TortieMama : That's NOT a loss. They were brutally profitable still. That's only total sales, not profits. 2024 saw a profit of $33 billion, a 4 percent increase. That means they have to be hiking retail prices over wholesale prices. Their costs went down way more than their sales. Kroger is a money machine.

Catmae : Oh ...I thought there was only the one at WLHP and 1960. Well, a good pharmacy is important. I pharm at smallmart here in Kingwood. Heck, I walk in to just shop and if I see some of the pharm techs in the store, they wave to me as they know me and that is just a nice feeling.

I love shopping at Kroger. The parking lot isn't a circus, and they have lots of manager specials. You just have to know where to look for them. They usually have eight hundred digital coupons to choose from, and they know what you buy, so they have the coupons you can use. I also get paper coupons in the mail from Kroger. They have the fuel points you can earn so I save money on gas. They also offer an elite credit card that gives me five percent off my monthly bill. I also got a free Boost card this year and that is giving me lots of savings. They take care of the elderly. You just have to ask.
