I had a bad experience with a rescue foster home. We had neighbors who had a "rescue" dog hoarding situation going on for quite some time. The conditions those dogs were living in were deplorable, filthy, caged.... They took those dogs to a well known pet store chain for adoptions. Yes, authorities were called on numerous occasions. That did no good, as the people eventually moved their filthy dog rescue elsewhere.
I understand the rescue organization wanting to thoroughly check out the prospective adoptive family, but I want to be able to do the same to the rescue/foster. I want to know for certain that the dog came from the clean, loving foster family as advertised.
