I had one customer cuss out one of my cashiers because she had a basket of about 70 items and wanted to check out in a 15 items or less line that already had about five people with the RIGHT AMOUNT already waiting there. The cashier told her, politely, that she would have to go to a regular register. The woman proceeded to call her a b**** along with some other expletives. NikCorrect me if I am wrong but even though the notion that the customer is always right rules in the business world so does the other notion "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." Usually this right is reserved in cases where the person enters a business and causes disruption to the business service. Have you ever exercised this discretion?

I went to Walmart and Krogers this morning. Dang, if someone did not get into the "Express Lanes" with full carts. In neither case, were they turned away. In fact, Walmart told me that they would not turn someone away, even if they had a loaded cart
I went to Wal-Mart and Kroger this morning. Dang, if someone did not get in the "Express Lane" with a loaded grocery cart. In neither case, were they turned away. In fact, Wal-Mart told me they will never turn someone away in the "Express Lane" with a loaded cart with way over 20 items.

@AMCLady: That sucks...I wonder what the hell the point of the 'Express Lane' is then?Stores need to put people in their place if they aren't following the rules and making other shoppers have a miserable experience at their establishment.They may **** that person off, but they would make the three people behind them very happy.
