rocket1 : What words???? My feelings are based on the horrible murder of these innocent people. #msg2192498

@Catmae :
You have a right to feel as you wish. All I'm saying is 47 and his administration is exploting the situation for an agenda.

For me, I think our immigration laws should be enforced. But there's a right way to do just about everything. Secondly, Singh did not seek to kill three people that day. But he was reckless.

Which is most likely the reason why he wasn't charged with murder, and why he received the sentence he did.

Was he really here illegally or is that a convenient dog whistle?

He crossed the border and applied for asylum, was given a hearing date, and allowed to work while waiting for his hearing.

No effort has been made to change the laws regarding this process

Under the previous administration there was an effort to pass legislation to fund more courts and judges to expedite the hearing process.

Give the asylum seekers fast turn on the process and kick them out fast when denied. Under current system this takes years.

The fact that they can work while this process is going on isn't a bad thing, not sure what the suggested option is (welfare?)

Obtaining a cdl, isn't simple, driving a truck in his own country surely wouldn't be different than diving a truck here, except maybe on other side of road.

Fact he was likely distracted driving was major issue, killing three people, but his race or nationality had nothing to do with his ability to observe stopped traffic and fail to respond.

So, perhaps our CDL training and qualifications need to be improved, who we let drive a 25,000 lb vehicle whether is is a semi, or an 85 year old man driving an rv down the road is scary as hell.

The prison time was probably in line with sentencing guidelines -also very sad and unfortunate. He should be in prison for many many years, unless there was some factor not published that suggested some leniency was appropriate.

Perhaps the public reacting to the news story doesn't know the entire facts considered and resulting in horrible sentence.

But this is not uncommon in many states with drivers getting away with wrist slaps for murder.

A man, regardless of immigration status, was driving reckless and the result is people died, regardless of their nationality. And he only gets 4 years in jail? Seems like justice was not served.

Glad I don't live in that state.

Illegal immigrant trucker's sentence ignites outrage after crash killed 3 Jashanpreet Singh, a 21-year-old Indian national who federal authorities said was in the United States illegally, was sentenced Tuesday to four years and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to three felony counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence stemming from an October 2025 crash on Interstate 10 in San Bernardino County, California. Singh's semitruck plowed into slow-moving traffic, killing three people and injuring several others, while dashcam video showed him never applying the brakes before impact. "Despite taking the lives of 3 people in a horrific eight-vehicle crash, criminal illegal alien Jashanpreet Singh was given a SLAP ON THE WRIST prison sentence of less than 5 years in sanctuary California," DHS said following news of Singh's sentencing. "Illegal aliens like this killer should NEVER be allowed behind the wheel or on our nation's roads. ICE stands ready to arrest Singh upon his release so he is never allowed back on our roads to take another innocent life." "5 years is a slap on the wrist for KILLING 3 AMERICANS," the Transportation Secretary added. "If California followed the rules, illegal aliens like Jashanpreet Singh wouldn't be driving 80,000 pound missiles down our roads We won't stop until ALL illegal truckers are put out of business and held accountable." Singh crossed the southern border in California's El Centro Sector in March 2022 and was released into the U.S. under the Biden administration pending an immigration hearing, according to federal sources. He later obtained a California commercial driver's license in June 2025, according to the Department of Transportation. Federal officials had previously warned California about compliance issues involving commercial driver's licenses and directed the state to pause new licenses to non-citizens and review existing licenses to make sure they complied with federal requirements. Fox News Digital previously reported that Singh should have been disqualified under an emergency DOT policy, while California officials said his eligibility was based on federally approved employment authorization documents. www.msn.com/en-us/ne ws/us/slap-on-the-wr ist-illegal-immigran t-trucker-s-sen #msg2192371

Once again, Biden has blood on his hands.

"Singh first entered the U.S. in 2022 through the southern border and was RELEASED into the country under the Biden administration. "
