Humble Traffic Stop Leads to Major Drug and Cash Seizure

A routine traffic stop in Precinct 4 led to the arrest of two suspected drug dealers and the discovery of a significant cache of narcotics, stolen firearms, and cash.
Sergeant Alejo with Constable Mark Herman's Office initiated the stop in the 14700 block of Woodland Hills Drive, where an adult male and female were found in possession of multiple illegal narcotics, including Xanax, Hydrocodone, Carisoprodol, and Promethazine, along with over $34,300 in U.S. currency. The male suspect was identified as being out on parole for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Following their arrest, constables executed a search warrant at the suspects' residence in the 12100 block of Drummond Maple Drive. The operation resulted in the seizure of 36 cases of Promethazine, nearly 2,000 grams of Hydrocodone, 46.3 grams of Oxycodone, sealed bottles of Alprazolam, over 100 grams of Adderall, marijuana, and Soma. Additionally, officers recovered three stolen firearms, one of which was an HCSO duty weapon, and an additional $19,726 in cash.
The investigation is ongoing as authorities pursue further charges against the suspects.
