Humble Police Rapidly Track Down Stolen Silverado

Stolen Vehicle Recovered Shortly After Stolen:
On April 13, 2025, at 4:31 p.m., the Humble Police Department received a report of a stolen Chevrolet Silverado with a distinctive yellow "U" decal on the rear window.
The vehicle was allegedly stolen from the Deerbrook Mall parking lot. According to the complainant, who remained at the scene and provided information, the suspect fled westbound on FM 1960 Byp toward US Hwy 59.
Officers began canvassing the area, and a camera confirmed the stolen Silverado was traveling southbound on US Hwy 59. Following a tip from a wrecker driver, an officer located the stolen truck and followed it until additional units arrived.
The stolen Silverado exited at the Jackson Street ramp in downtown Houston, came to a stop, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Substance (PCS - PG1).
