@HumbleGirl : They get elected tonhandle tough decisions and to deal with mad people. If they don't like it, they shouldn't run. If they want to have everyone happy, sell ice cream. I've long passed the time to get involved. Did my time. My kids are all in their own now. I vote but I don't get as involved.

Overcrowding has to do with Principals allowing others to come in. Oh and money talks so these neighborhoods try to dictate what school to go to... No matter what some will be ****. Glad my kids are long gone

@HumbleGirl : I've met him several times. I also know of a personal donation he made to an elementary school for needed funds on a project. His requirement for the donation was it be kept anonymous. Got made public so that's why I bring it up.Good guy.....a tad arrogant (so am I prolly)....but I'll be voting to have him back in.

Today starts early voting. Let's have a good turnout so our school board knows we do care about our schools and students!!

Also these candidates can not work for Humble ISD! I was asked to run years ago but I was a teacher, with3 kids so I could not quit (husband had already died)

Reminder! Polling numbers are disappointing. Surely we all care a little more about our school district than what the numbers tell us. As much belly aching as takes place here and on other sites, you'd think we'd all give up 10 minutes of our time to go vote.

My teen and I voted at the Atascocita library on Pinehurst. It literally was a 5 min process, 3 people to vote on and done. No wait, just show your license.
