Humble ISD School Board Election Scheduled for May 6

Humble ISD will have a School Board Election on Saturday, May 6. Early voting begins Monday, April 24. School board members are volunteers, who serve without pay, and are elected for four-year terms. This year, there are three positions scheduled for election on the seven-member board.

2023 Board of Trustees Election: www.humbleisd.net/do main/9812

Candidates are:

Trustee Position No. 2: Robert Scarfo, Asdrubal â€œDruâ€ Gutierrez, Reginald Spivey, Erin Greene

Trustee Position No. 6: Marques A. Holmes, Audra Deaver, Holly L. Ham

Trustee Position No. 7: Natalie Carter, Michael Grabowski, Nancy S. Morrison, Leigh S. Marcus

Any registered voter who resides in Humble ISD may vote in the School Board Election.

Early voting dates and times are:

Monday, April 24 - Saturday, April 29, and Monday, May 1 - Tuesday, May 2
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, April 30
Polls will be open from Noon to 7 p.m.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Atascocita
5619 FM 1960 Rd E, Humble, TX 77346

Kingwood Community Center
4102 Rustic Woods Drive, Kingwood, TX 77345

San Jacinto College - Generation Park
13455 Lockwood Road, Houston, TX 77044

@Woodsman : NOPE...we have to disagree...I will vote for Scarfo and against any other incumbent. Scarfo does his job. The others are shady and working for their own interests.
The conservative Tea Party does not endorse the candidates in your picture.
If parents want to be in charge of education, they need to homeschool their kiddos!

@grinchy : Agree. Scarfo has the courage (and knowledge) to "call out" the other board members when needed. Most of the other members, especially the current board president, are interested in politics and their egos vs. what's best for our students. We need to keep Scarfo onthe board.

I voted yesterday in downtown Humble since I was in the area. I was and out in less than 5 min. There are only three questions on the ballot so there's really no reason not to set aside some time to make your voice heard.

Remember, you can't ***** afterwords if you didn't bother to vote.
