Humble ISD High School Bands Shine at State Marching Contest

Humble ISD had two of its high school marching bands compete in the 2023 UIL State Military Class Marching Band Contest on Tuesday, October 24, in Waco at Baylor's McLane Stadium.

Atascocita and Kingwood High School were two of 11 Class 5A/6A Bands to qualify for the State Contest. Both earned a spot in the finals after marching in the prelims on Tuesday afternoon.

Kingwood finished 2nd overall and Atascocita finished 4th overall at the end of the competition. Congratulations to both bands on great competition seasons!

These kids in football, band, cheerleading, drill all work hard and we should show our support. This is laying down the foundation for great things to come for our kids.
