HPD: Suspect facing charges of Felony Evading - Motor Vehicle.In the early morning hours of Tuesday May 30th, a Night Shift A officer attempted to stop a motorcycle for driving without any lights on.
The driver of the motorcycle refused to stop and accelerated in an attempt to evade the officer. The pursuit went off road where the suspect crashed his motorcycle and ran on foot.
The suspect then became blocked in by a pond and decided to take an early morning swim. The suspect could not tread water very long and was eventually taken into custody. The suspect is facing charges of Felony Evading - Motor Vehicle.
