Surely the taxpayers would have to vote to approve funding that..... Sad thing is, most of the apartment dwellers and renters will vote "yes" because they have no real stake in the area....Their rent goes up because of extra taxes, they simply pack up and move to another county, leaving home/property owners holding the financial bag....

The owners of the apartment complex have to pay for it anyways regardless of occupancy.
Besides, the tax used for sports facilities is Hotel occupancy and vehicle rentals. We aren't paying those
I think there should be reform on rental properties. If there are single family occupants willing to buy the home, then someone trying to rent the property out after buying it should be the last option.
point....The renters get a vote and don't have to stick around for years paying for it all.....
