From Channel 2 Weather.....Late tonight, another wave of fast moving thunderstorms will plow across the area early Tuesday morning. Timing on the thunderstorms will be 2-3am for western counties, 4-6am through the metro area. Storms could bring a quick half an inch to an inch of rain and plenty of lightning.Be careful, first half of tomorrow's commute could be messy.

Hearing the thunder! What's coming for us!

@West-Tex : Got some new flashlights and was going to put batteries in them earlier but totally forgot. The thunder just woke me up so I got up and remembered we didn't have any flashlights ready. Got up, took the flashlights out of the package and realized I needed a small screwdriver to undo the battery part and knew the only small flashlights were in the detached garage. Sighed loudly like a moms gotta do everything around here. Could not find my keys to unlock garage. Finally found keys after extensive searching and went out, unlocked the garage, foraged through my husband's tools whilst looking out for roaches and feeling like a roach was about to come at me at any second, found box of small screwdrivers, came back in sighing loudly the whole time and, when I went to unscrew bottom of first flashlight, I accidentally turned the switch on and the (extremely bright) light went off directly into my eyes. That is when I realized the flashlights came with batteries. 🙄🙄🙄So anyway now I'm ready.
