This is our first Christmas..

Since my hubs passed in 2016..
That it will be just my boys and I.. no family coming to invade us, no drama. Heathens just woke up.. Game On!!

This is our first Christmas.. Since my hubs passed in 2016.. Just my boys and I.. no family coming to invade us, no drama. Heathens just woke up.. Game On!!

@Luckysis : Yessss! We had a ball opening gifts. We have been cracking jokes all morning and having lots of laughs. I love our peaceful lives now.

@DaycareMom : So your husband's family is finally letting go? My husband's parents died before him and his sister never talks to me, she will call my son's and not my daughter. But their family is so much drama I am happy to be away from them.

@DaycareMom : My dh passed away in 2016 also. I'm so glad you had a peaceful Christmas. Beautiful tree. Looks peaceful and loving .

@Carol888 : No ma'am.. I still have a great relationship with my MIL.. took a long time to get there but we did. I also stay in contact with his niece.

It's my nutcase of a family that I detached myself from that made this year so great!

@West-Tex : well I still tolerate her. She knows not to throw any attitude bc I have no problem removing her grandkids, her only pieces of her son she has left, from her life.

Thankfully we have had no issues. In fact Thanksgiving and Christmas were really pleasant visits. I think the devil has turned a new leaf!
