Seeing as this topic has for some reason been bumped almost a year later to resolve territorial disputes, I'll just drop an update on what happened with these people.
Both the mother and her oldest son ( our friend
@randyfromthepic ) were charged with Possession of Marijuana 4 OZ. - 5 LBS, and Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance 1-4 Grams. Both felonies, with the later categorized under Penalty Group 2 which supposedly carries a 2 year minimum prison sentence. After the case dragging on for over half a year all charges were dropped against the mother and Randy was just given Deferred Adjudication (do probation for a little bit and we'll agree you're not guilty lol) No idea what happened with the shooter, juvenile records are obviously not public.
I no longer live in the area thankfully but our friends who still do regularly inform us that nothing has changed and this family continues to cause the same problems they always have and their street is now a hotspot for drug activity. So sad, props to our judicial system.
